Biography
I was born on January 14, 1979, in Seville. After studying philosophy and theology, I completed my master's degree and doctorate in Biblical Studies at the Pontifical Biblical Institute of Rome under the direction of Prof. Jean-Noël Aletti. My thesis was titled ‘From apostle to slave: Paul's exemplum in 1 Corinthians 9’. Currently, I am a permanent professor at the San Isidoro de Sevilla Faculty of Theology (Spain). I have also taught at the University of Seville, the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome, and the International University of La Rioja in Spain. My research interests include the Pauline Letters, Biblical Studies, and the Origins of Christianity. I am a member of the Colloquium Biblicum Paulinum and the Spanish Biblical Association. Additionally, I serve as an editor-in-chief of the academic journal Isidorianum. Apart from teaching and research, I am a priest of the Archdiocese of Seville.
