Peter Neish



Peter is the Research Data Curator, Digital Scholarship at the University of Melbourne. He works across the University in partnership with researchers on a wide range of data management projects. He has interests in data management training, planning and data forensics. The University's data forensics lab, which Peter leads, won the 2016 VALA Award. Peter has previously worked at the Victorian Parliamentary Library and the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria, using his background as a researcher and computer scientist to make databases and information more available, standards-based and linked. He has contributed to national and international data initiatives and transfer standards.
