Biography

Tebogo Morajane is a senior lecturer at the University of Pretoria in the Department of Mercantile Law. She holds the degrees BA (Law), LLB (UCT) and LLM from the University of Pretoria. She is currently registered for the doctoral degree (LLD) in Corporate Law at UNISA. Her LLD thesis is entitled “Corporate liability for the statutory offence of insider trading in South Africa: A Comparative Analysis". Her area of interest is corporate law and her research focus area is on market abuse law, with specific reference to the law of insider trading.
