Biography

An accomplished and innovative Cybersecurity Engineer and Researcher, I am Nabil Abdoun, specializing in network and telecommunication engineering, with a primary focus on network security, encryption, and information security. With a Ph.D. in Network and Telecommunication Engineering from Nantes University, Polytech, IETR Laboratory, France, I have developed in-depth knowledge and expertise in data security, hash functions, signal and image processing, chaos theory, and neural networks.

My academic pursuits extend into the realms of human resources and organizational dynamics, as evidenced by a Professional Master 2 in Sociology & Human Resources Management from the Lebanese University. I bring an understanding of the impact of HR policies on the performance and effectiveness of employees within organizations, fostering team synergy and productivity.

My role as an Automotive Cyber Security Engineer has honed my skills in analyzing electronic control unit architectures for threats and developing cybersecurity concepts for vehicle systems. My hands-on experience in digital & computer forensics, network & information security, and software development add substantial value to my profile.

In addition to my engineering roles, I have several years of teaching experience in AI, cybersecurity, web client programming, and data protection at institutions like the Lebanese American University, Université Saint-Joseph, and Modern University for Business and Science. My academic articles and conference papers have been recognized and published by prestigious journals and forums, marking significant contributions to my field.

My skill set includes proficiency in various programming languages like Python, Java, C++, and Objective C. I am adept at business management tools, digital forensics and penetration testing tools, network simulators, and design software. I have CISCO, EC-COUNCIL, and Product Management certifications, adding to my diverse competencies.

Fluent in English, French, and Arabic, I am an effective communicator and collaborative team player. My strengths lie in multi-tasking, analytical thinking, decision-making, and technical acuity, fueling my passion for harnessing technology to create innovative solutions for today's complex challenges.
