My scientific activities can be framed in the catalytic processes of industrial interest, especially relating to the environmental sector. I developed specific expertise in different aspects of heterogeneous catalytic processes, particularly in preparing and characterizing catalysts, reactivity, reaction mechanisms, and kinetic aspects of the reactions.
I am author and co-author of more than 80 articles (about 2894 citations, H-index 31 ); 10 chapters in international books; Guest Editor of 1 book and 1 special issue, 1 patent; more than 150 papers in national and international conference proceedings
My research activities and major topics are:
• Heterogeneous catalytic processes, in particular reactivity studies, reaction mechanisms, and kinetic aspects of the reactions.
• Catalytic Processes for Environment Protection
• Catalytic after-treatment processes for NOx abatement (LNT, PNA…systems)
• Catalytic post-combustion abatement of emissions from mobile sources (Regeneration of catalytic diesel particulate filters)
• Advanced materials for CO2 capture and conversion
• Catalytic methane decomposition for turquoise hydrogen production
