Boundary layer flow, Non-similarity analysis, Heat and mass transfer, Numerical Technique, Keller Box Method, Turbulent Boundary Layer Flow

Biography

I did my Ph.D. from the International Islamic University Islamabad. The title of my thesis is “Heat transfer analysis of non-similar axisymmetric flows”. I worked on laminar boundary layer flow over particular types of bodies of Revolution like von-Karman (F-16 fighter jet), Paraboloid, Piriform, Pear, Conic nose, Elliptic, long slim cylinder, Parabolic surface, Sphere, etc. The reason for choosing these shapes is due to their high importance in the aerodynamic field. The investigations that I have done, so far, were purely theoretical, using the 2nd-order finite difference technique (Keller-Box). The main purpose of this work was to understand the dynamic and thermal behaviors of such a flow under certain wall boundary conditions. My research articles have been published in a reputable Journal. One of my articles recently posted an Editor’s Choice selection in the Canadian Journal of Physics titled “Analysis of laminar boundary-layer separation in retarded flow over bodies of revolution”. Now I am looking for a post-doc or research assistance from where I would extend my study to deal with turbulent flow behavior on the axisymmetric surface with the help of an algebraic model or statistical model or by using a fast computing machine.
