Biography

Dr. Liu earned his transportation engineering doctoral degree and bachelor's degrees in Tongji University in 2019 and 2014. He went to the University of Washington for a one-year visit as a joint Ph.D. He is now an associate professor in Tongji University. His research expertise is rooted in transportation systems and smart infrastructure with a focus on pavement performance evaluation, maintenance optimization, smart highway, and the applications of AI techniques in transportation.
