Biography

Dr. Muhammad Adib Uz Zaman serves as a tenure-track assistant professor within the School of Information Technology (IT) at the University of Cincinnati (UC). His journey at UC commenced with a role as a visiting faculty member in the School of IT starting from Fall 2022. Prior to his tenure at UC, Dr. Zaman contributed as a postdoctoral research associate in the Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research (PTR) department at the esteemed University of Florida.

Dr. Zaman's academic pursuit led him through a comprehensive educational trajectory. He acquired his Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Industrial Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Northern Illinois University, and Texas Tech University, respectively, culminating in 2015, 2018, and 2021. His academic journey reflects a commitment to advancing knowledge and expertise in his chosen field.

With a diverse educational background and extensive academic experience, Dr. Zaman's research interests traverse the domains of predictive modeling, data science, and operations research. He has demonstrated proficiency in these areas through his involvement in numerous projects spanning engineering, data science, and optimization techniques.
