Biography
I study cell/extracellular matrix relationship in the bone tissue and organ.
Specifically, we analyse the functions of the SIBLING matricellular proteins BSP and osteopontin in bone, using knockout (KO) mouse models of either protein, and a double-KO model. Our present focus is on the regulation of phosphate metabolism by SIBLING proteins.
Since my retirement (August 2022), I am working part time in the same lab as a volunteer researcher.
