Biography

Bachelor's at Agronomy from Federal University of Espirito Santo (1990), master's in Agricultural Microbiology from the Federal University of Viçosa (1994) and PhD in Soil Science from the Federal University of Lavras (1999) and Post Doctorate at the University of Florida (2019). He has worked at Embrapa Genetics and Biotechnology and Embrapa Mandioca and Fruticultura. He is currently Associate Professor IV at the Federal University of the valleys Jequitinhonha and Mucuri. He has experience in the area of Agronomy, with emphasis in Microbiology and Soil Biochemistry, working mainly on the following topics: organic waste, recovery and evaluation of degraded areas and ectomycorrhizal fungi for inoculation in eucalyptus. He has been a Permanent Professor of the Graduate Program in Plant Production since 2006. He acts in the lines of research Microorganisms Promoters of Plant Growth, Biodegradation and Use of Organic Residues and Evaluation and Recovery of Degraded Areas. He has 21 complete articles published in journals in the last 5 years, supervised 2 post-doctoral student and currently supervises another, guided 13 Master's dissertations and 2 PhD Teses, a DTI-II fellowship (CNPq). Currently, he leads 3 PhD students, 2 Master's degree, 2 Scientific Initiation fellowships and co-directs 1 PhD students. He has a total of 147 completed guidelines and 9 ongoing guidelines.
