Biography

Electrical Engineer (Magna Cum Laude) with a Sub-specialization in Mathematics from the San Francisco de Quito University. His senior year was carried out at the University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign, USA. Master in Vision, Image and Robotics (with distinction) from the University of Burgundy (France), the University of Girona (Spain) and the Heriot-Watt University (United Kingdom). In 2020, he was awarded PhD in the specialty of Signal, Image, Speech, Telecommunications at the University Grenoble Alpes (France). He was working in the National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and the Environment (INRAE, for its acronym in French). He is Associate Professor at the Technical University of Machala, where he has taught the subjects of Programming Fundamentals in Python and MATLAB, Information and Communication Technologies, Calculus, Differential Equations, Fourier Analysis, Probability and Statistics.
