Biography
She graduated from Istanbul Technical University in 1995 as an architect. She completed her PhD at Yıldız Technical University (2010). Having academic studies on building technology, technological innovations in building products, nanotechnological materials and sustainability, wood construction technology, architectural design and project management, Dr. Karaçar is still working as a faculty member at Istanbul Medipol University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture. She executes of the Journal of Urban Academy and Journal of Environment and Natural Studies.
