Michelle Kasprzak is a scholar, writer, and curator. She completed her BFA in New Media at Ryerson University, Toronto, Ontario in 2000, and in 2006 completed her MA in Visual and Media Arts from the Université du Québec à Montréal, earning several scholarships and awards, including an Ontario Fellowship for Studying in French. Currently she is pursuing her doctorate on an ARDITI fellowship at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto and Madeira Interactive Technologies Institute (M-ITI) on the subject area of social innovation in extreme scenarios. Her supervisor is the ERA Chair of M-ITI, Christopher Csíkszentmihályi. She is a Docent in the MA programme in Education in Arts at the Piet Zwart Institute, Hogeschool Rotterdam. She presented her most recent academic papers at 4S/EASST and STS Italia.
