Personal information

carnivore ecology, spatial capture recapture, population density, predator-prey interaction, interspecific competition, survey and monitoring techniques
Malawi, South Africa

Biography

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Nelson Mandela University, South Africa. I am interested in how anthropogenic and biotic pressures impact carnivore ecology, including spatial and temporal partitioning, habitat use and population density. Previously completed my PhD thesis at Nottingham Trent University. My thesis investigated the status and behavioural ecology of leopard and spotted hyaena in Kasungu National Park, Malawi.
