Biography

PhD in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry) from the University of São Paulo (São Paulo / SP - 2004), with a degree in Chemistry (with technological attributions) by the same institution (1999).
Currently working as a Researcher, at CNEN (Brazilian National Commission for Nuclear Energy – Laboratory of Poços de Caldas).
Main research areas:
- Analytical Chemistry, working with the development instrumental analytical methods (X-Ray Fluorescence, Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Spectroscopy, Atomic Flame Absorption and Graphite Furnace, UV-Vis Spectrophotometry , ICP-MS);
- Radiometric analysis of isotopes of uranium and other radionuclides using the inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) technique;
- Quality Management, acting as Quality Manager for the purposes of accreditation in the ISO / IEC 17025 standard of chemical and radiometric tests;
- Validation of analytical methods, statistical control of processes and planning of experiments using statistical tools.
Professional experience in Chemical Analysis of the Aluminum Industry.
Also teaching at UNIFAE, São João da Boa Vista / SP.
