Biography
Oksana Polyakova-Nesterenko completed her graduate studies in Translation and earned a Master’s in Languages and New Technologies. She holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), graduating with an Excellent Cum Laude distinction.
Currently, she is a lecturer in the Applied Linguistics Department at UPV and a member of the Research Group of Analysis of Languages of Specialty. Her scholarly interests encompass higher education, applied linguistics, second language acquisition, terminology, and translation studies.
As the coordinator of the iPLUS educational innovation team, she leads various UPV didactic projects focused on transversal competences and the Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. Additionally, her involvement in the ENHANCE Alliance EU Project has contributed to creating meaningful learning pathways through innovative Staff Week events.
