Anne Condon



Dr. Anne Condon is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at U. British Columbia. Her research is in the areas of computational complexity and algorithms, with a current focus on ways to computationally predict nucleic acid structure and on molecular programming - the art and science of writing programs that are realized and executed by DNA or other molecules. She is an ACM Fellow and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. She received her Bachelor's degree (1982) from University College Cork, Ireland, and her Ph.D. (1987) at the University of Washington.
