Mary Silber

Professor Silber's research is in applied dynamical systems. She is an expert in bifurcation theory and in pattern formation. Her current research interests include applications of these areas of expertise to tipping points in the Earth system, particularly related to ecological and climate mathematical models. She is a focus group leader in the Mathematics and Climate Research Network. Her past research includes applications to biological modeling, fluid mechanical systems, feedback control and delay differential equations.
