Biography

I am a molecular virologist and data scientist with over eight years of experience. My research focuses on single provirus transcriptomics, separated by sense and antisense transcription coupled with network biology. In my laboratory, we develop tailored quantitative molecular biology approaches, computational pipelines, and mathematics, enabling the investigation of biological variations across individuals. We use these tailored methods to study the mechanistic interplay between HIV-1 and the host genome. My long-term vision is to utilize such a convergence approach, enabling the translation of basic science findings toward precision medicine and predictive health.
