Biography
I am a Computer Systems Engineer and a PhD in Engineering. My initial R&D lines focused on the area of industrial computing, digital electronics, embedded and real-time systems. Then, I continued that lines in the field of cyber-physical systems. Currently, my academic, scientific and professional interests are oriented to the incorporation of technology for the improvement of life in cities, which could be termed as Smart Cities. In particular, I am motivated and engaged in inter, trans and anti disciplinary work in areas such as software engineering, requirements engineering, urban planning, local development and the internet of things. In this sense, I promote and participate in research, innovation and technological development projects that equally improve cities in an economic, social and environmental sense.
