Professor PD Dr. Dr. h.c. Hamid Mattiello is a distinguished German academic, futurologist, and interdisciplinary researcher recognized for his pioneering contributions to sustainability, digital transformation, social and ethical engagement in healthcare, and cultural management.

With over two decades of experience, Prof. Mattiello seamlessly integrates deep academic expertise with practical application. His research spans diverse fields such as industrial and IT engineering, artificial intelligence, sustainability, digital transformation, sex- and gender-specific analysis, and the humanities. A leading figure in his field, he has developed transformative theories like the X.0 Wave/Tomorrow Age Theory and models such as 7PS and Hybrid SMEs/SME X.0, bridging the gap between academic research and real-world sustainability and economic practices. His work underscores the importance of transitioning to socio-eco-cultural-friendly systems in both the private and public sectors.

His research expertise includes the Blue-Green sustainable digital circular economy, digital transformation in education and healthcare, gender-specific analysis, and the ethical regulation of AI. Mattiello's interdisciplinary approach leverages IoT engineering, sustainable development, and cultural studies to address emerging challenges and promote sustainable practices.
