Biography
Professor of management who specializes in entrepreneurship, family business and international business. I teach courses in the area of Entrepreneurship, Change Management, International Business. Recently focus on Search Funds or Entrepreneurship by acquisitions.
I have been a visiting professor in many US and European Universities, like Florida State University, Bentley University, ISM Frankfurt, Universittá Cattólica Sacro Cuore Milan, ESDES Business School Lyon, ISC Paris or Regents University London among others. I jointed The Catholic University of America in August 2014 as a visiting professor of The Busch School of Business. In 2023 I was appointed as Assistant Director of the FBC (Family Business Consortium), part of the Ciocca Center for Principled Entrepreneurship.
By other hand, I am ordinary tenure professor of management at the Universidad Católica de Valencia in Spain, where I was Vice President of International Relations from 2006 to 2012. I was also the Head of the Masters in Human Resource Management at INEDE Business School, during the same years. I was previously an associate professor at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia in Spain, in the Business Organization Department.
I love teaching, but I am also in love of business, reason why I developed with my family several businesses transforming a traditional Family Business into a Family Office. I also help many young professionals to develop their own business, giving my advice and experience, as well as, in some occasion make investments in their companies, as Business Angel or Lead Investor.
I am CEO of Lagar Brothers, and founder partner of Lagar Ventures. Board member of several other companies.
