Biography
I am a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Occupational & Environmental Health at the University of Oklahoma. I received my Ph.D. degree in the Lyles School of Civil Engineering at Purdue University. I received my M.S. in Civil Engineering and Construction Management from Arizona State University and earned my B.S. in Civil Engineering from Shenyang Jianzhu University in China. My research interests include architectural engineering, sustainability, zero-energy buildings, indoor pollutants, occupational exposure assessment, and indoor environment quality and environmental health. I have published 12 peer-reviewed journal publications in leading academic journals, including Environmental Science & Technology and Building & Environment. I am also a passionate teacher and have served as a teaching assistant/teaching fellow on several occasions at Purdue University. My efforts have been recognized and celebrated as a recipient of the prestigious Lyles Teaching Fellowship and the Estus H. and Vashti L. Magoon Award. I avidly support student branch activities and have held leadership positions in the Purdue ASHRAE Student Branch for two years.
