I am a Classicist and Digital Humanist and I work as an assistant professor at the University of Leipzig (Alexander von Humboldt Chair in Digital Humanities). I have been working since 2008 with the Perseus Digital Library at Tufts University, where I have been visiting professor in the Department of Classics. My research interests are mainly focused on ancient Greece and the digital humanities. I am currently working on representing quotations and text reuses of ancient lost works. I am implementing a Fragmentary Texts Editor (FTE) within Perseids, which is a collaborative platform for editing and annotating TEI XML documents in Classics. I am also leading the Leipzig Open Fragmentary Texts Series (LOFTS), which is part of the Open Philology Project of the Humbolt Chair of Digital Humanities at the University of Leipzig.
