Carlos Rompante da Cunha is graduated in Computer Science from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB), Portugal in 2003. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at the University of Trás-Os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD), Portugal, in 2015. He works on the distributed cooperative networks concept in precision viticulture environments. Presently, he is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Informatics and Mathematics, IPB, Portugal. He is also a researcher at UNIAG, Bragança and INESC TEC, Porto. His research interests are in the area of pervasive and mobile computing, distributed systems and security systems and networks. He is also involved on the development of systems and solutions for cooperative scenarios and mobile environments, particularly on tourism.
