Undergraduate (Bachelor and Teaching degrees) in Biological Sciences at Santa Ursula University (Brazil). Master and Doctor in Biological Sciences (Zoology) at National Museum (MNRJ/Brazil). Full Professor at Federal University of Bahia (UFBA/Brazil). Permanent professor in ‘Biodiversity & Evolution’ graduate program (UFBA). Curator of the amphibian collection of the Natural History Museum of UFBA. Main interests: Amphibians, Taxonomy, Ecology, Biogeography, Conservation.
