Biography

Prof. Mohamed Sayed, received his B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Alexandria University – Faculty of Engineering (Egypt) as the first rank in June 1987, his M.Sc. degree in Engineering Mathematics from Alexandria University (Egypt) in 1992 and Ph.D. degree in Mathematics of Computing from Birmingham University (UK) in 1998. Prof. Sayed was with Alexandria University (Egypt) 1998-2001 before joining Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, Kuwait University (Kuwait) 2001-2009, then Arab Open University in Kuwait 2009-present. He was directing the Information Technology and Computing Program at Arab Open University (Kuwait) 2012-2019. He is now the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Scientific Research at Arab Open University in Kuwait. His research interests are in Computational Algebra and Enumeration, Cryptography and Computer Security, Pattern Recognition and Deep Machine Learning. He is a member of IET, IEEE, LMS, SIAM.
