Biography
Matteo Floris is an Associate Professor in Medical Genetics at the Department of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Sassari; from 2006 to 2016 he was a Researcher at the Department of Biosciences of the CRS4 - Research and Development Centre in Sardinia (Pula, CA) and in 2016 he was a Research Fellow at the IRGB-CNR of Monserrato.
He graduated in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies at the University of Padua (in November 2003), then obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Bioinformatics at the University of Koeln (Germany) in March 2005, a PhD in Biochemistry at the University "La Sapienza" in Rome in March 2011 and a PhD in Medical Genetics at the University of Sassari. The main interests and research activities are focused on the study, creation and application of computational tools in biomedical and genomic fields.
