Biography

I am Ramy K.A. Sayed, an Associate Professor and Postdoctoral Researcher in Veterinary Anatomy and Embryology, Sohag University, Egypt. I was awarded my Ph.D. through a Joint-Supervision Fellowship conducted in Institute of Biotechnology, Biomedical Research Center, Granada University, Spain. My work in Ph.D focused on studying the morphological markers of skeletal and cardiac muscles aging, with investigating the role of NLRP3 inflammasome, mitochondria, apoptosis, and autophagy in this process, as well as the protective effect of melatonin supplementation.
