Biography

I am an experimental particle physicist currently working with DUNE Collaboration. I did my Ph.D. on Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment of Large Hadron Collider (LHC) from IISER Pune. I have extensively worked on CMS experiment to search for the possibility of the physics beyond standard model by exploring type-III seesaw model and nature of neutrino. My research interests are neutrino physics, beyond standard model physics, and development of experimental apparatus required for the searches in these disciplines.

At Univesity of Bristol, I am currently working on Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE). DUNE at Fermilab is an international experiment for neutrino science and proton decay studies. The primary physics goal of DUNE is to study neutrino oscillations and further our understanding of the questions about the nature of matter and the evolution of the universe.

My current responsibilities involve the development of the data acquisition system for the single phase detector of DUNE experiment. In my lab, I work with advanced electronic systems to make sophisticated trigger algorithms for this evolving experiment.
