Biography

Cosmin Nada is a FCT-funded Research Fellow at CIES-Iscte (Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology). He holds a European PhD in Education Sciences (University of Porto) and has more than ten years of experience in the field of education research. Cosmin's research expertise and interests are linked to: migration and education, sociology of education, diversity and inclusion, early school leaving, social justice and education, educational policies, higher education, multicultural learning, and international education. He has presented findings at numerous academic conferences and has published in leading international journals in the field of education. Cosmin has participated in several international studies and projects, and has extensive experience of connecting research to practice and policymaking through his collaborations with national and international organisations like the European Commission or UNESCO.
