Biography
Felipe Sánchez is head of the Accounting and Finance Department and researcher in EDEM Business School (Spain). He has a Business Degree in Economy and Finance (University of Valencia, Spain), a Master in Financial Markets (FEBF, Spain) and an Advanced Management Program (IESE, Spain). In 2016, he obtained his PhD in Economy (University of Valencia, Spain) analyzing the 2008 financial crisis from an institutional economic perspective.
He accumulates 20 year of experience in the financial markets, given that previously to his current full-time teacher position he worked for BMEX (the Spanish Stock Exchange), later as a TV financial analyst , and finally for several Spanish investment banks (such as renta4banco) as financial advisor and private banker.
He has been associated Finance teacher in Florida Universitaria (Spain) and lecturer in several Finance Máster Programms. Currently, he teaches across undergraduate and graduate levels in EDEM. His current research interests include finance, fintech, cryptoassets, institutional economy, and entrepreneurial culture.
