Biography
Graduated at Universidad Politécnica of Valencia (Spain) in Technical Architecture in 1992 and Building Engineer in 2011. Master in Renewable Energy at Universidad San Pablo CEU of Madrid in 2012. PhD at Universitat Jaume I of Castellón in 2017. Title of his thesis: “The architecture of the plundered Earls’ Oliva Palace through its graphic legacy”.
From 2007 he works at Universitat Jaume I of Castellón, Spain in the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering and Design, teaching at the Bachelor's Degree in Building Engineer, at Bachelor's Degree in Agrifood and Rural Engineering and at the Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design and Product Development Engineering.
Author of 38 scientific publications in journals, book’s chapters and international conference papers on architectural heritage and graphics surveying fields. Member of the researching group Architectural Heritage Study at Jaume I University. He has participated in the researching project “Groined vaults in the Valencian Gothic: Virtual recreation from geometric-constructive study for dissemination in communication networks” (2012-2014) and “Renaissance: Architectural Imprint at Castellón province. Footprints, trails, traces and vestiges” (2016-2018).
He has participated in several stays in other universities (teaching courses, and researching stays): Via University College (Denmark), Università deglli Studi di Pavia (Italy), Häme University of Applied Sciences (Finland), Politecnico di Milano (Italy) and Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute (China).Management and participation in several educational improvement projects (2008-2018).
Extensive professional experience in the building field, participating in the construction of different kind of buildings: schools, health care facilities, public offices, exhibition halls, hospitals, university buildings, industrial buildings, housing, etc., as well as participation in various rehabilitation and consolidation works of historical and heritage buildings (1992-2014).
