Biography

Matilde Martínez Casanovas is the General Director of IGEMA Business School, a center attached to the Universitat Rovira i Virgili that offers studies of Official University Degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE) and the Master's Degree in Business Creation and Administration in a Globalized Environment (MUCAD). With the incorporation of Matilde, a new stage begins for IGEMA, in which the promotion of knowledge and excellence in its implementation will continue to be its most important commitments. Now more than ever IGEMA will bet on talent and creativity to help foster the entrepreneurial and innovative character of students.

Matilde is also Director of CreaInnova Institute and Innovation Factory Institute, a professional service company specialized in developing people skills in creativity and innovation in organizations, applying innovative methodologies and techniques to an array of enterprise disciplines and areas of knowledge. With the support of our prestigious international experts we address the needs of organizations to be up-to-date in international trends and innovations.

Mrs. Matilde Martínez Casanovas has a Psychology Degree. More than 20 years in training activities and 19 years managing Innovation projects. Post graduate in IT consultancy, Innovation management and e-learning. She obtained her PhD about Creativity and Innovation from La Salle University (Barcelona). Writer of some articles, papers, speeches and books related with new technologies and Innovation.

Creator of Creativity Kit®, a kit of stimulation and training of creativity and creator of Innovation Kit®, a kit to help you create new and innovative solutions focused on people.

Matilde is an expert in the development of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship through experiential learning and as methodologies such as design thinking, lean start-up, agile, among others.
