Biography

After studying land use effects on greenhouse gas fluxes and associated soil processes in West African savannas, I expanded my research to several other ecosystems. Micrometeorological measurement techniques and balancing carbon and nitrogen fluxes are main topics of my work. Currently I am focusing on reactive nitrogen compounds and try to measure their exchange between biosphere and atmosphere.
