Biography

I am a tenure-track assistant professor at Department of Agroecology (Aarhus University [AU]) for 80% of my time, and an associate professor at the Globe Institute (University of Copenhagen [KU]) for the remainder of my time. In both roles, I lead groups studying plant-microbe interactions. At KU I study the fundamental co-evolution of plants and their associated microbes. In AU, I seek to apply the methods and knowledge I develop onto crops to improve them.

In addition to project management, my team includes postdoctoral researchers, PhD students and Bachelors students that I co-ordinate. My other responsibilities include grant and manuscript reviewing, teaching and departmental pastoral roles.
