Biography

Catedrática de la Universidad de Huelva, Departamento de Filología, experta en Alfabetización Mediática y Didáctica de la Lengua y la Literatura. Como investigadora del Grupo de investigación Ágora (Plan andaluz de investigación. HUM-648), de la Red Alfamed y del Grupo Comunicar ha participado en diferentes proyectos, tanto nacionales como internacionales. Sus intereses de investigación son la alfabetización mediática, la competencia mediática, los nuevos lenguajes y narrativas de la comunicación, y la formación de profesores de lengua y literatura. Ha publicado varios libros, capítulos de libros y artículos científicos (h-index, 35). Ha sido editora asociada de la revista Comunicar Q1 in JCR (Journal Citation Reports) y Q1 en Scopus (CiteScore and SJR), y de Heliyon (Scopus y ESCI).


Full Professor at the University of Huelva (Spain), expert in Media Literacy and the didactics of Language and Literature. As a researcher in the Ágora Research Group (Andalusian Research Plan: HUM-648), and Alfamed network, and Comunicar Group she has participated in different projects, both in national and international calls. Her research and publications (h-index 35) focus on the development of media literacy, new narratives in the digital context and their integration in the curriculum in general and in the area of Spanish Language and Literature in particular. He has published several books in relevant publishing houses in the field of communication and education. She has been associate editor of the scientific journal Comunicar Q1 in JCR (Journal Citation Reports) and Q1 in Scopus (CiteScore and SJR), and of the journal Heliyon indexed in Scopus and ESC
