Biography

My primary research interests lie in the field of enzyme biotechnology, particularly the development and characterization of microbial enzymes for plastic biodegradation. I am currently working on the optimization of expression and purification protocols for PET-degrading enzymes, with the aim of establishing standardized workflows that reduce variability and improve reproducibility in enzymatic PET degradation studies. My research also focuses on benchmarking the activity of PETase variants and contributing to the engineering of more efficient enzymes for sustainable plastic recycling applications.
