Full Professor (Professora Coordenadora com Agregação) at the Porto Accounting and Business School (ISCAP) at the Porto Polytechnique Institute (IPP).
Researcher at the Algoritmi Center (Information Systems Department at Universidade do Minho - Portugal. Belongs to ISTTOS research line. Member of CEOS.PP. Former President of SPACE Network - https://www.space-network.org/. Member of the SIIS research center.

Vice dean of ISCAP between 2007 and 2018.
Member of the Scientific Committee at ISCAP.
Supervisor of master dissertations and PhD theses; member of juries (master and PhD).
Diretor of the Executive Management Master at ISCAP

Participated as a coordinator / responsible for a partner or researcher in several international projects.
Editor in chief of the International Journal of Technology and Human Interaction.
Associate Editor in the Information Resources Management Journal.
Member of the scientific committee of several conferences and journals.
Participated in several international projects as coordinator and partner in the areas of digital literacy, development of human capital, e-learning. One of the projects (efinlit) won the Best Practices award by the Erasmus+ National Agency.
Her research interests also include the impact of information systems in organizations and in the workforce, knowledge management, and the development of human capital.
Several publications have been made in the above mentioned areas.
