Biography

DTS holds a Bachelor's degree in Humanities (2001), Documentation (2003), and a Ph.D. in Scientific Documentation (2007). He has worked as a librarian, bookseller, and has developed his professional career creating and leading bibliometrics units first at the University of Navarra and then at the University of Granada (2007-2023) ● He is lecturer of the Dpt of Information and Communication (UGR). He is member of the EC3 Research Group about Evaluative Bibliometrics and altmetrics. He have published more than 80 scientific contributions indexed in the Web of Science ● He has been CEO (2013-2023) and actually senior consultant at EC3metrics spin-off●He is responsible of two courses at the Faculty of Translation and Interpretation and participates in two master's programs at UGR and an expert program at the U. Pablo de Olavide (UPO). He teaches and shares - open access - courses on scholarly communication, Evaluative Bibliometrics, Scientific Communication and Publication, Scientific and Academic Writing, Research Career, etc... ● Is the promoter of the digital plataforms Yosigopublicando (teaching platform about scientific career) and InfluScience Project, about the impact and influence of science on society● From 2023 is coordinator for Social Impact Assessment at Vice Chancellor's Office for Social Innovation, Employability and Entrepreneurship at the UGR.
