Biography

I'm an Associate Professor of Marketing of the Business and Economics Department at the School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, an integrated research member of the Centre for Rapid and Sustainable Product Development of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, an associate research member of the Business Research Unit of the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL), a founding member of the “Marketing Lecturers Academy” and a member of the American Marketing Association and Academy of International Business.
I have a PhD degree in Management with Marketing specialization from the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL), a MSc degree in Management with Marketing specialization from the Catholic University of Portugal and a first degree in Management from the University of Coimbra.
I have served as a reviewer for international journals such as Journal of International Marketing, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business Research, Technovation, International Marketing Review and Brazilian Administration Review. I have also served as a reviewer for international conferences such as, namely: American Marketing Academy, Academy of International Business, European Marketing Academy, European Academy of International Business, Global Innovation and Global Academy and Global Business and Technology Association. I have served as a juri for several masters and specialists evaluation processes. I have been engaged in several research projects funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology.
I have won a best paper award in track Global & Cross Cultural Marketing in the 2016 Winter Marketing Academic Conference, Las Vegas and the 2017 +International scientific publication of Polytechnic of Leiria R&D Awards for the Social Sciences scientific area
