Biography
Dr. German-Lenin Dugarte Peña holds a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Los Andes, a MS in Computer Science and Technology and a PhD in Computer Science and Technology from Carlos III University in Madrid, where he worked as researcher and assistant professor. Currently he is an associate professor at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, in Madrid, Spain.
His research interests include software process improvement, value-based software engineering, general software engineering, software process modelling and simulation, complex systems theory and practice, system dynamics, organizations theory, societal computing, systems thinking and cybernetics.
He has been a member of the Latin American School of Systems Thinking and Design since 2010. Lean IT certified.
