Biography

Sara Pinheiro is a PhD in Education Sciences - Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, University of Porto. Research assistant at the Centre for Research and Intervention in Education of the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, University of Porto. Her fellowship was awarded by the Doctoral Programme in Education Sciences of the University of Porto, and was funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology and the European Social Fund (grant no. PD/BD/105705/2014). Her research interests include European citizenship; education in European citizenship; youth cultures, educational pathways, sense of belonging citizenship and european citizenship; minority groups and their relationship with education.
