Biography

I have a Ph.D. in Education and I'm a researcher in ​​Teacher Training focused on Didactics of Mathematics and technologies in education, with diversified research and publications. I'm also school textbooks' author. I have been a researcher in several projects funded by FCT, have been a member of the organizing and scientific committee in national and international congresses and I'm a reviewer for scientific journals.
In my professional activity, I have been in charge of creating study cycles in ​​teacher's training area (Undergraduate and Master's). I coordinated the Bachelor in Basic Education and have been part of the scientific committee of several masters in Education. I collaborated in development projects of teacher training in Portuguese-speaking African countries. In addition to the initial teacher training, I have been working in in-service education. I also was vice dean of ESECS between 2013 and 2017.
