Biography
I graduated in 2017 from INSA Lyon, where I specialized in bioinformatics. During that time, I completed two internships in cancer research: one at the Synergie Lyon Cancer Bioinformatics Platform and another at IARC-WHO, where I analyzed somatic mutations, copy number variations and structural variants using next-generation sequencing data (WGS, WES). I then pursued a Ph.D. in oncogenomics under the supervision of Dr. McKay and Dr. Foll at IARC-WHO, in the Genetic Cancer Susceptibility group. My research focused on integrating somatic and germline multi-omics data to improve our understanding of lung cancer using computational biology. To further expand my expertise in cancer genomics and driven by my interest in immuno-oncology, I joined Prof. Gfeller’s lab in March 2021 as a postdoctoral researcher. There, I have been mostly working on computational methods for ATAC-Seq data analysis, including methods for the deconvolution of the tumor microenvironment in bulk ATAC-Seq tumor samples, and for the annotation of immune-related scATAC-Seq data.
