Biography

Ivar A. Fahsing is a Detective Superintendent and Assistant Professor at the Norwegian Police University College. He has earlier published in the field of investigative interviewing, eyewitness testimony, detective skills, detective’s decision-making, knowledge management and organised crime. He is used as expert-witness in courts and has for several years conducted training of law-enforcement personnel throughout Europe and Asia. He has 15 years of experience as a homicide detective in the Oslo Police department and at the National Criminal Investigation Service of Norway.
