Biography
I’ve being working with the Manufacturing and Materials Engineering and Technology (TEP-027) research group since 2013. During these years my research has mainly been focused on the machining and the texturing processes of aeronautical materials, getting my PhD in Manufacturing, materials and environmental engineering in 2019. The first research line has been part of my PhD and I have developed different studies on the tool wear of aluminium machining, parameter optimization for machining process and improvement of the process through lubricant conditions. The second line had been focused on the characterisation of the laser texturing of titanium surfaces, analysing its effect on the wettability, sliding and wear behaviour. The knowledge was acquired in the Universidad the Cádiz and complemented through different research stays at the Rochester Institute of Technology, the University of Naples Federico II and Tecnalia research & Innovation. The results of this research has been published on different scientific papers and conferences. Additionally, for the last three years I had the opportunity to collaborate in a project regarding the texture effect on different materials and another transference projects focused in the improvement of the wear behaviour of drilling tools through the parameters optimization for aeronautical structures.
