Ivko A. Nikolic

Biography

Born in 1963 in Arandjelovac. He graduated in 1997 from the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Belgrade. He specialized in 2005 at the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Belgrade, on the topic "Effects of the implementation of exemplary teaching in school in nature." Master's degree in 2009 at the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Belgrade, topic "Objects of work in the teaching of nature and society." He received his PhD in 2014 at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Vranje, University of Nis with the dissertation "Roles and competencies of teachers of nature and society in an efficient school that is changing rapidly."
He has been working at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Belgrade since 2016-2018. as the head of the Development and Research Center, and since 2018 he has been teaching the Methodology of Teaching Nature and Society, Teaching in Nature, Complex Evaluation in Teaching Nature and Society and the Methodology of Supplementary and Additional Teaching.
Since 2017, he has been the editor-in-chief of the journal Methodical Theory and Practice, published by the Teachers' Association of Serbia, and he is a reviewer of the journals Methodical Theory and Practice, Innovations in Teaching,
Asian Journal of Education and Social Studies since 2019 and in the Asian Journal of Advanced Research and Reports since 2022. Member of the Board of the Institute for the Advancement of Education since 2021. Reviewer of the Agency for Higher Education of Republika Srpska (AVORS), for the scientific field of social of Science from 2022. Member of the Commission for approving the program of professional development of teachers, educators and principals in ZUOV 2010-2017. Since 2017, he has been the Assessor of Textbook Manuscript Quality at ZUOV.
