Biography

I am a Group Leader at the Early Cancer Institute in the Department of Oncology at the University of Cambridge and a United Kingdom Research and Innovation Future Leaders Fellow. I am also honorary senior research fellow at the Medical Research Council Integrative Epidemiology Unit, University of Bristol.

I hold an MPH degree from the University of Texas at Houston in the US and a PhD from the University of Cambridge in the UK. Before embarking on a career in science, I studied medicine at the Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College and trained at the Sassoon General Hospitals in Pune, India.
