Biography

José A. Gázquez Parra, IEEE Senior Member (2012), received his Ph.D. degrees in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Malaga 2002. He was on the board of the company Engineering and Remote Control S.A. (Granada) (1991-1994). 1989 -1993 work as a freelancer in the field of engineering, performing more than 20 Telecommunications Project. He is principal researcher of the Electronic Communications and Telemedicine (TIC019) since 2010, Research Group of the Andalusian Research Plan. He is a member of the Andalusian Institute of Geophysics. He has been Associate Professor in the Electronic and Computers Technology Department at the University of Granada (Spain) (1990-1993) and currently is Full Professor in the Engineering Department at the University of Almeria (Spain) and head of Electronic Technology area. He was Main Researcher of five research projects granted by the Spain Government ant FEDER funds.
His research interest includes electronic circuits design, communicatios systems and measurement of low frequency magnetic fields. (email: jgazquez@ual.es).
